Dori is now 6 1/2 months pregnant and it feels like it's been forever. I can barely remember when she wasn't pregnant. I'm so excited to meet this new little life of ours. It's a girl and her name is Emma Kate (Katherine after mom). We have her room ready to go with a new crib and changing table. We found one of dad's cribs and we brought it home for Emma to use.
I just can't tell you how excited I am to be a dad. Life is funny. If I could have any one thing in life it would be for Emma to have a grandfather. I envy the older grand kids. They had my dad as a grandfather and a super grandfather he was. Emma will know about her grandfather through stories because I'll tell her about him. I'll tell her how much he loves her still.
